Je ontdekt ze op 11 plaatsen, tussen het Koningin Astridplein en het Kardinaal Mercierplein. Kan je de boodschappen ontcijferen?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De gemeente Jette ondersteunt al jaren de moza\u00efekkunst in de openbare ruimte, waarbij de ons te vroeg ontvallen Jean-Christophe Duperron de drijvende kracht was. Her en der duiken moza\u00efekpareltjes op in de Jetse straten en pleinen. Ook op het Kardinaal Mercierplein en in het Koning Boudewijnpark vind je kleurrijke voorbeelden van moza\u00efekprojecten.<\/p>\n<h3>Patrimonium en geschiedenis van Jette<\/h3>\n<p>Het moza\u00efekparcours in de L\u00e9on Theodorstraat was het laatste project dat Jean-Christophe, samen met de kunstenaar Kunlo, voorstelde aan de gemeente Jette. Kunlo heeft dit project vervolgens afgewerkt, als eerbetoon aan zijn vriend Jean-Christophe. Op elk van de 800 tegels prijken twee letters. Doordat de tegels naast elkaar liggen, komen al gauw woorden tevoorschijn die op hun beurt resulteren in een verhaal. Zo onthult elke zone een weetje over een van de atypische fa\u00e7ades van gebouwen in de L\u00e9on Theodorstraat. In bepaalde zones vormen sommige tegels een afbeelding die verband houden met de tekst en voor extra context zorgen. Op het einde van de rit kom je dus heel wat te weten over het Jetse patrimonium, de geschiedenis van de gemeente en cultuur in het algemeen.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_4&#8243;
